Fuengirola International Country Fair 2024
The Fuengirola International Country Fair, previously known as the People’s Fair, returns on Wednesday May 1, with the inaugural parade that will tour the streets of Fuengirola, and closes on Sunday May 5.
The fair will remain open, continuously, from 1:00pm to 4:00am, although this year on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday the stalls/booths will stop playing music at 2:00am in respect for the residents.
This year the fair will once again have 33 countries, since the Coordination Centre will move to the Peace Palace, leaving room for another country. Unfortunately Chile will not be participating, but Italy, Senegal and Sweden return and Lebanon enters for the first time in the history of the FIP.
The parade will take place on Wednesday May 1, leaving at 11:30 from the Town Hall Square. Folklore groups from the countries represented in the FIP 2024 will parade here.
Every day there will be food, drink, crafts, and live folk performances by the different groups in their respective areas and at the fairgrounds.
This is surely an event not to be missed.
