The Three Kings is a big celebration in Spain, with most towns holding their own parade on the evening of 5th January. Adults and children alike look forward to this parade, not just to see the wonderful floats and costumes, but to see how many sweets they can go home with. All along the route, sweets are thrown into the crowds from the parades participants. The parade in La Cala de Mijas will start at around 17:00 hours from the Boulevard in front of the cultural centre, continuing along Torremolinos, Torreón, Marbella and Cártama streets and finishing at La Butibamba park.
