The Three Kings is a big celebration in Spain, with most towns holding their own parade on the evening of 5th January. Adults and children alike look forward to this parade, not just to see the wonderful floats and costumes, but to see how many sweets they can go home with. All along the route, sweets are thrown into the crowds from the parades participants. The parade in Las Lagunas will leave at 17:30 hours from the Mijas water park and will continue along San Cristóbal, San Bartolomé, San Javier, La Unión, Avenida de Mijas, Ford roundabout, Calle Santa Laura, Calle Santa Gema, Camino de Campanales, Avenida de Mijas, Camino del Albero and Calle Antonio Machado, ending at Avenida Miguel Hernández.
